Maxwells Residential (Sales) Ltd is an independent estate agency with Branches in Baildon and in the neighbouring ‘World Heritage Site’ of Saltaire. Director, Karen Maxfield has been an established local estate agent for over a decade. In 2005 she won the coveted NAEA Young Estate Agent of the Year Award in association with TTC Training. This was after Karen studied hard and was accredited with NVQ Levels 2 & 3 in Sales of Residential Property, as well as attaining the NAEA Technical Award. Karen is currently working towards the NAEA Diploma in Residential Sales.
She was the 2010 First Lady President of the Bradford & District Auctioneers & Estate Agents Association and is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents
We strongly believe in the need for estate agents to be qualified, which is why we invest a lot of time and money in our staff training. Karen stated: “A new industry is emerging. Estate agents have always been widely criticised by the press and public for delivering poor standards of service and paying little regard to estate agency law. It is no longer good enough to be good, you have to be distinctive, be different, and be qualified.”

Marie Smith has worked for Maxwells Residential Ltd since we opened our doors in 2005. She has worked in the Sales & Customer Service industry all of her working life. Having worked for a well known International Company for 18 years, before running her own local business and has won Employee of the Year with her

 previous local employer for outstanding contribution to the business. This reflects Marie’s enthusiasm in which she sets about her work, where she goes above and beyond to help clients buy or sell their property. She has attained NVQ 2 in Residential Sales and has lived within the Shipley district for over 20 years. She is mum to Karen, and offers tremendous support to the family business.
Nicola Gott has also worked in the Sales & Customer Services industry all of her working life. She has achieved NVQ level 2 & 3 in Sales of Residential Property and has worked in this sector for a considerable length of time. She was brought up in Baildon and has lived in Saltaire village, so her local knowledge is second to none.
Andrew Kaznowski has also been an established local estate agent for many years, running his own estate agency business, before coming to support and work alongside his partner Karen. Together, they have over 25 years experience. He has lived within the Baildon/Shipley district all of his life.
